ARTIFACT: This is a scarce Hitler Youth (or Jugend) Kampf Spiele der Schwab tinnie or badge, made to commemorate the 1939 sports competitions of the Schwabischen Hitler Youth. The "Hitler Youth" was initially an organization formed to groom teenagers as anti-Semites, but during the war the Youths became fair game to restore depleted military manpower. The badge is shaped like a vertical arrow covered in oak leaves and acorns.

VINTAGE: Circa 1939.

SIZE: Approximately 1-13/16" in height and 1-7/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilded white metal.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: AD SCH(-name is cut off) STUTTGART.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The tinnie shows some light wear.
