ARTIFACT: This is a scarce circa 1930s police detective badge from New Orleans, Louisiana. The badge is numbered 204 on the cut-out star at center. Instead of the more typical "circle star" design, this impressive badge has a head-turning "crescent" star design.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin with saddle.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an old New Orleans police and law enforcement badge collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAFHX13 LCGEX4/14 SCEJX4/14

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge has some light to medium wear and a handsome tarnish.
