ARTIFACT: This is a scarce 1928 United States Naval Academy at Annapolis "Lucky Bag" yearbook. The book has a total of 447 pages of class photographs, individual biographies and staff information as well as some beautiful Art Deco illustrations and period advertisements in color. We have included photos (above) of some of the more interesting graphics, including an advertisement for Consoldiated Aircraft Corporation. The yearbook was published by DuBois Press of Rochester, New York.

VINTAGE: Circa 1928.

SIZE: 447 pages with black and white photographs and black and white (some color) illustrations; approximately 12-3/8" in height and 9-1/4" in width and 1-3/4" in thickness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cloth-bound embossed cover, glossy paper.

ATTACHMENT: Glued binding.

MARKINGS: DU BOIS PRESS BUILDERS OF FINE BOOKS AND CATALOGUES ROCHESTER, N.Y. Process Color Printing and Engraving; M maker stamp on reverse cover.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEEX01 LAIEX4/13

CONDITION: 6 (Fine+): Some of the book's pages have moderate aging (yellowing) along their edge and some rippling; moderate wear to spine and cover edges; small pencil drawing inside back cover; areas of light discoloration inside both covers.
