ARTIFACT: This is a scarce 1920s veterans' hat badge for the volunteer Franco-American Brigade. The badge reads BRIGADE DE VOLONTAIRES FRANCO-AMERICAINS DIEU, PATRIE ET LIBERTE (God, Country and Liberty). The pin shows the United States and French flags crossed and the cameos of two men at center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass,

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing and one stabilization post.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay MDJX96 LABEX2/11

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The badge is in wonderful condition with only very light wear and traces of tarnish.
