ARTIFACT: Scarce 1890's US Police helmet badge #2. Possibly from Georgetown, Massachusetts as it came with a police radiator badge from there also bearing the number "2". The badge is shaped in a half-wreath with the number "2" in the center. Small Massachusetts town with a very small department especially during this period.

VINTAGE: Circa 1890's

SIZE: Approximately 2-5/8" x 1-5/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated brass

ATTACHMENT: Two loops/lugs – cotter pin missing.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-KDB-25-16 LAAEX11/16 SAAEX11/18

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The badge shows moderate wear, cotter pin missing, much of the plated details remain, overall very fine condition.
