ARTIFACT: This is a rare World War II United States Army Air Forces targetless air gunner wing. The wing is "targetless" because there is no ring behind the falling bomb at center. It is in sterling silver and has a one-piece construction.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: About 3" in width by 1" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with a "come-under" locking catch.

MARKINGS: STERLING.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MEJL07 LADEX

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine - Excellent): The wing has some light wear and minor tarnishing to the reverse only.
