ARTIFACT: This is a rare World War II United States Army Air Forces liaison pilot wing made in India. The wing is in plated brass but was marked as silver.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 7/8" in height by 3-1/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated nickel despite being marked SILVER (most of plating is gone).

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal British kick (Y) pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: SILVER.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCJJL13 LFIEX5/13

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The wing has some areas of light to medium wear and tarnish; most of the plating is gone.
