ARTIFACT: Rare WWII United States Army Air Forces 28th College Training Detachment (Aircrew), later 2615th AAF Base Unit (college training, aircrew) Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio Instructor jacket patch. The patch depicts a winged white circle bearing the letters: "WRV" in red embroidered detail.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/2" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embroidered wool, cotton/polyester/silk thread, gauze backing

ATTACHMENT: N/A

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USAAF collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCJX16 LAHEX11/16

CONDITION: 6- (Fine): The patch shows moderate wear, moth nips to edge, black stain on blue felt, overall fine condition.
