ARTIFACT: Extremely rare WWII United States Army Paratrooper badge by Norsid. The paratrooper badge is sterling silver and shows two wings furled tightly about an open parachute. Norsid was notorious for having stress cracks and other issues with their insignia. Faulty dies, or faulty materials, I am not sure. This example shows sign of die wear and stress in the canopy.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" in length x 7/8" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come under locking catch.

MARKINGS: NORSID CO.

CONDITION: : The badge is in near mint condition, slight die wear and stress to the canopy.
