ARTIFACT: This is a rare paperback copy of the United States Army book entitled: "The 19th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron: A Brief History". The short booklet begins with the 19th's stateside departure in November 1944 and documents their activities the following spring and summer in Germany and France. The history is followed by a list of Bronze Star recipients from the unit, as well as a roster. The last page of the booklet is a large fold-out map in color.

VINTAGE: Circa post-World War II (1945?).

SIZE: 20 pages with fold-out color map; approximately 12-1/16" in height and 9-1/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Oaktag cover, paper.

ATTACHMENT: Stapled binding.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAB/EX06 LBGEX4/13 SBGEX6/15

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The booklet has some creasing and light staining to the cover; the next-to-last page has a wide yellowed strip along its edge; some tearing away from inside the rear cover; map is in excellent shape.
