ARTIFACT: Rare WWII Theater-Made United States Army Air Forces Aviation Engineers jacket patch. Machine hand-embroidered in Belgium or France – only one I've seen. Aviation Engineers were tasked with building and defend air bases. The embroidered patch depicts a soldier riding a winged tank against a background of blue and a white outer ring that reads: "AVIATION ENGINEERS" in red detail.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 3-3/4" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered, cotton/polyester/silk thread

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine—Excellent): The patch shows minor wear and soiling, colors remain bright, overall very fine condition.
