ARTIFACT: This is a rare World War II Royal Dutch Air Force pilot-observer wing in bullion. The wing is English-made, and shows an eagle sailing past an orange sun. The wreathed "W" beneath him stands for observer (waarnemer).

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-5/8" in height and 3-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool embroidered with bullion thread, silk details, cloth backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Netherlands militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-DMM-25-13 LGGEX6/13 SLEHEX2/15 SLEFJX4/15 SLECJX6/15 SLDHJX11/15 RET10/16

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The wing has some light tarnish and medium wear to the edge of the wool.
