ARTIFACT: This is a rare World War II United States Navy (USN) cap badge made by G.H.S. of New York. The badge is in two pieces and depicts a spread winged eagle standing upon a US Shield with crossed anchors behind and is metallic coated to appear as though its made of gilt brass and silver.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/8" in height and 2-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Metallic coated plastic.

ATTACHMENT: Single post with disc backing, clip.

MARKINGS: G.H.S. INC. N.Y.
