ARTIFACT: This is a rare United States Army Air Forces squadron roster booklet for the 9th Photo Reconnaissance Squadron. This USAAF squadron was in the India-Burma sector and attached to the 5306th Photo and Reconnaissance Group (provisional), 8th Photo Group/8th Reconnaissance Group, and 10th and 14th Air Force. The 9th was in that theatre from July 24, 1942 through the end of the war. The roster was printed in India, and the 9th's feline photographer mascot graces the cover. Listed for sale separately is an Indian-made 9th Photo Reconnaissance Squadron jacket patch that came to us along with this patch (please see link below for more information).

VINTAGE: Circa 1944.

SIZE: 16 pages; approximately 4-1/2" in width x 6" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Oaktag cover, printed paper.

ATTACHMENT: Stapled binding.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The booklet shows some light wear to the cover; no marks, writing or stains inside.
