ARTIFACT: This is a rare United States Army wristwatch by Elgin on a silver Russian Art Deco band. The band is a handsome openwork grate design with an hourglass-like design and the middle of each panel.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately SIZE: Approximately 1.22 inch in diameter, or 31mm in diameter, not including the crown, or lugs. and " length", the watch about 7-5/8" to fit around the wrist, or the 194mm.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver, glass, plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Wristband.

MARKINGS: Three small marks on inside of band; ELGIN USA on watch face. "Case marked: Fahy's ORESILVER (nickel)"  "Works marked: S# 21236610 ELGIN USA"
