ARTIFACT: This is a rare pair of World War I Imperial German aviator goggles. The goggles have slightly tinted yellow lenses and mesh sides with fleece lining at the edges. There is also a World War I flight helmet (pictured above with goggles) for sale as a separate item. Please see the link at the bottom of this page for listing information.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 8-3/4" across inside of lenses while lying flat; 2-15/16" tall (each lens).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Leather, glass, fleece, cotton, metal.

ATTACHMENT: Strap with buckle and clip.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an Imperial Germany collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-JMB-50-AEJX11 LDIEX2/12 SDCJX8/12

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The goggles are in fine condition, with little wear to the lenses, and areas of wear and minor discoloration where the mesh goes around the frames. There is rusting to the buckle and clip.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
