ARTIFACT: This is a nice example of a rare USAF Parachutist Qualification badge in sterling silver used during the years 1956 - 1963.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1950's - early 1960's.

SIZE: Approximately 1" in width x 1-1/8" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver and enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Double clutch back. NOTE: Top post has broken off.

MARKINGS: Sterling. N.S. Meyer New York. Meyer shield. 9M shield.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a large collection of wings, which we will be listing more of over the next few months.  VBJX99 LAGEX07/07 SAJJX03/23

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine): Very minor wear and light tarnishing. Top clutch post has broken off.
