ARTIFACT: This is a rare World War II patch for the United States Army Air Forces 349th Bomb Squadron, 100th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force (aka "The Bloody Hundredth". The 100th earned the prestigious Presidental Unit Citation award twice, first for service at Regensburg and later at Berlin. The patch is British-made and shows Mickey Mouse riding a bomber shaped like his friend Pluto.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 4-15/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Leather.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJJX12 LAAEJX1/12 SAJJJX3/14

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The patch shows some light wear with small spots of minor creasing and discoloration and a few staple holes.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
