ARTIFACT: This is a rare World War II American Theater Wing badge in sterling silver. The creator of the Tony Award, the group was a part of the World War II Allied Relief Fund which encouraged theatrical education but also supported servicemen and families of veterans. The badge is a wing with a blue mask at center.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 15/16" in height and 2-7/16" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated sterling silver with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWII homefront organization collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VAAJX06 LBDEX10/10

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge shows very light wear and has a few small spots of slight discoloraion.
