ARTIFACT: Rare, short-lived, 2002-2008, New Hampshire Highway Patrol Ranking Officer Campaign ("Smokey the Bear") Hat badge by Blackinton. Badge as worn by officers with a rank of Lieutenant and higher, Bureau of Highway Patrol, Department of Safety. Badge is an eagle, wingspread perched above an enameled state seal and painted letters that read HIGHWAY PATROL.

VINTAGE: Manufacturer dated 2004.

SIZE: 1-1/2" x 1-1/2".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass, enamel, and paint.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw back post with stabilizer pin and rubber cap.

MARKINGS: Blackinton HI-GLO04.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a collection of New Hampshire State Police artifacts which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBEX17 LBGEX6/17 STRVBEJX7/17

CONDITION: 9+ (Near Mint-): Badge shows hardly any wear.
