ARTIFACT: This is a Rare, Salty, Cieca 1943's United State Coast Guard Chief Petty Officer Hat Badge in Wartime Shortages Materials. Most Likely Produced by GEMSCO in their large Anchor Pattern. 

Plated, cast, white Metal. Well used. Rotating Lock Mechanism is missing.

VINTAGE: Circa 1943's.

SIZE: Approximately 1-7/8" in height x 1-1/4" inwidth.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated, cast, white Metal.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with catch. (Rotating Lock Mechanism is missing.)

MARKINGS: N/A

CONDITION: 6 (Fine- ): The badge shows Plated, cast, white Metal. Well used. Rotating Lock Mechanism is missing.
