ARTIFACT: Rare 1934 Red Tire "Century of Progress" Firestone promotional ashtray. The center reads: "CENTURY OF PROGRESS FIRESTONE CHICAGO 1934" in embossed lettering and surrounding it is a red rubber tire.

VINTAGE: Circa 1934.

SIZE: Approximately 3-3/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embossed glass, rubber.

ATTACHMENT: N/A.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a collection of gasoline, oil, auto parts & tools, and tire Related artifacts, which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBJV16 LGJX7/16 SeVIJX07/03/19

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine - Very Fine): The ashtray shows moderate to heavy wear, the rubber has stiffened and shows cracking, mostly to reverse, overall fine condition.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
