ARTIFACT: This is a rare matched pair of Italian Fascist Port Militia (Milizia Portuaria) officer collar anchors from World War II. Formed in 1924, this group protected the ports of Italy and her possessions. Each anchor is on blue twill embroidered in silver bullion.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-7/16" in height x 1-3/16" in width (each).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Twill embroidered in silver bullion, cloth backing.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto a uniform.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an Italian militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCEX12 LAFEX2/12 SAEJX02/22

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The anchors show some light wear and small areas of tarnish.
