ARTIFACT:
Rare mid 1930's New Hampshire Motor Vehicle Department Inspector badge by Whitehead & Hoag, New Jersey. The center of the badge shows the NH State Seal and surrounding it reads: "INSPECTOR NEW HAMPSHIRE MOTOR VEHICLE DEPT.", the base of the badge shows the number "64", and the top features an eagle, wings spread and head bowed. This badge was woirn by NH State Motor Vehicle Inspectors, who served in a capacity similar to the NH State Police, prior to that agency's formation in 1938. Overall, the badge shows great detail and the reverse features a great Whitehead & Hoag maker's plaque.

7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, mostly to high points, reverse shows polish on reverse likely there since period of wear, some of the plating details remain, overall very fine condition.
