ARTIFACT: This is an Extremely Rare M1919 US Air Service USAS Military Aeronaut Balloon Pilot Wing From OFFICIAL DIE in Sterling.

Putnam Green Collection. POSSIBLY Duncan Campbell Collection. If so, it is wing # 52 on Page 22, and Biographical to Captain Clarence B. Lober.

VINTAGE: World War 1, 1919.

SIZE: Approximately: 1" in height x 3-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with Tiffany-style catch.

MARKINGS: FROM OFFICIAL DIE STERLING

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The wing shows minor wear and tarnish. Overall, it is in excellent condition.
