ARTIFACT: This is an early caddie badge for Sunnycrest Links of Syracuse, New York. The badge dates to the golf course's original opening in late 1920s, The design of the course, which was originally of regulation length, is attributed to renowned golfer Larry Murphy. The badge is in celluloid, brass and nickel and is numbered 12.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1920s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid, brass and nickel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an old golf collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay MBJX14 LABEX7/14

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge has some light wear: line to the left of the #12 is NOT a crack, just a deep scratch.
