ARTIFACT: This is a rare circa late 1940s United States Marine Corps VMF-121 (Fighting Squadron 121) decal. These decals were used to make the rare "Baby Huey" leather patches the 121st wore for a very short period between 1949 and 1950 or 1951. The decal shows a portly sailor jogging with a soda bottle in hand and boxing gloves hanging from his belt.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1940s.

SIZE: Approximately 5-5/8" in height and 4-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Decal.

ATTACHMENT: Peel-off.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USMC squadron decal collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VAJX14 LBGEX4/14

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The decal is unused with some creasing at the edge of the backing only.
