ARTIFACT: This item is a rare pin from the late 1930's American Bureau for Medical Aid to China's (ABMAC's) Chinese Civilian Relief Fund. This celluloid pin was made by the US to help relieve China's devastation after the invasion by Japanese forces. ABMAC helped to raise emergency funds for China during this time, making pins like this to let people show their support visually.

VINTAGE: Late 1930's

SIZE: Approximately 15/16" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid face with a steel back and steel pin

ATTACHMENT: Open steel pin

MARKINGS: "CHINESE CIVILIAN RELIEF. A.B.M.A.C.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an ABMAC collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBEX16 LHEX01/17

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The pin has light to moderate foxing on the celluloid. Other than that, it is in good condition.
