ARTIFACT: This is a rare circa late 1920s lapel pin for Douglas Aircraft. Douglas Aircraft Company was a California-based outfit that began in 1921 and merged with McConnell to become McConnell-Douglas in 1967. The pin is tiny, and shows the company's early "Around the World" logo.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1920s.

SIZE: Approximately 3/16" in height and 9/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an aviation company collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX13 LABJX2/13

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The pin has one small area of light wear to the enamel.
