This is a rare Korean War period United States Marine Corps Military Police grouping. The items include a beret, arm bands, a baton holster, four ribbon bars, a whistle, a chevron insignia and a coaster.
VINTAGE:
Circa Korean War.
SIZE:
Items are of various sizes Ð beret is on the small side.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Beret: wool with cotton lining, leather hatband, felt plated brass; felt and cotton armbands paper coaster, brass whistle, plated brass insignia, silk-wrapped brass bars.
ATTACHMENT:
Grommets, elastic band, single screw post with disc backing.
