ARTIFACT:
Rare and extremely beautiful 1940's E. J. Towle Rosary bracelet in pure silver. Apparently unworn, this ornately decorated artifact shows three individuals in nice relief detail, the center "THE BLESSED MOTHER" and above, "SAINT CHRISTOPHER" and below "LITTLE FLOWER". There is a nice embellishment of the crucifixion and the entire bracelet is decorated with flowers and vines with a beautiful gun metal patina. This rare bracelet appears to be from the earliest proclamation. The reverse reads: "AN APPROVED AUTHENTIC CATHOLIC ROSARY", "E. J. TOWLE BRACELET ROSARY", "JOYFUL - MONDAY, THURSDAY", "SORROWFUL - TUESDAY, FRIDAY", "GLORIOUS - WEDNESDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY".
