This is a Rare Early World War II United States Navy Pearl Harbor Navy Yard Mourning Necklace with Sterling Pendant. 
Worn by PHNY Workers Early in WWII Just after the Attack in Memory of those Lost Durling the Attack.
Front Reads: WE KEEP THEM FIT TO FIGHT PEARL HARBOR NAVY YARD.
Back Reads: THE STARS AND STRIPES FOREVER.

VINTAGE: World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 3/4" in diameter. 25.5" inch strap.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver, with silk strap.

ATTACHMENT: To be worn.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDJK19 LBDEX11/04/24

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The pendant shows minor wear, and tarnish. Overall, it is in excellent condition.
