ARTIFACT: This is a Rare Early Korean War 1951 USN Gaggle Patch for CVG-102 On Board the USS Bon Homme Richard CV-31. Carrier Air Group 102 Deployed Aboard USS Bon Homme Richard CV/CVA-31 from 10 May 1951 Thru 17 December 1951. This Was Bon Homme Richard's First Korean War Cruise. The VC Squadrons Shown Were Only Detachments Not Full Squadrons, VC-3,VC-11,VC-35 And VC-61 Were All Detachment Golf.

Squadron Represented on this patch are: VA-923 VF-781 VF-783 VF-874

VINTAGE: Early Korean War.

SIZE: Approximately 7-1/2" in height x 4-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully-embroidered patch in multi-colored silk/cotton threads.

ATTACHMENT: N/A.

MARKINGS: N/A.
