ARTIFACT: Rare, early 1970's NASA Security Patrol Guard hat badge from Johnson Space Center. The chrome plated sunburst-like badge is topped with an eagle and features the NASA Space logo in the center, raised against a background dark blue and surrounding it reads: "GUARD SECURITY PATROL" in painted detail.

VINTAGE: Circa 1970's.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/8" x 1-7/8".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome plated brass, paint.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with stabilizer pin and screwback.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 9- (Excellent+): Badge shows minor wear, nearly all the plated and painted details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
