ARTIFACT: Rare, early 1947 National Ski Patrol System Donation Badge. The center of the badge shows an orange enameled cross with the year: "1947" in the center and surrounding it reads: "NSPS SUPPORTING MEMBER" in embossed lettering with two star embellishments.

VINTAGE: Circa 1947

SIZE: Approximately 7/8" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled, nickel-plated brass

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with 'C' type catch

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a sports collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MCX16 LADEX5/16

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine—Excellent): The badge shows moderate wear, nearly all the plated and enamel details remain intact, overall very fine condition.
