ARTIFACT: Rare, early 1900's Oregon Special Game Warden circle star badge in nickel plated nickel by Pacific Coast Stampworks. The star in the center of the badge reads "SPECIAL 207", the circle around it bears the words: "GAME WARDEN STATE OF OREGON". The reverse features the makers mark: "P.C.STAMPWORKS PORTLAND"

VINTAGE: Circa 1860's Š 1870's

SIZE: Approximately 2 1/8" x 2 1/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver plated brass, hand engraved lettering filled with jeweler's black

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety style missing pin.

MARKINGS: "P.C.STAMPWORKS PORTLAND"

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, the pin is missing/broken, and nearly all the plating and painted details remain intact.
