ARTIFACT: This is a rare circa 1943 United States Navy pilot wing made from "war shortages" material: cast white metal. It has been given a gold wash.

VINTAGE: Circa 1943.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/32" in height by 2-25/32" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cast white metal with gold wash.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under swivel locking catch.

MARKINGS: ACID TEST.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VJX12 LADEX11/12

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The wing shows some light wear with one minor nick to the tip of one wing.
