ARTIFACT: This is a rare circa 1942-1943 Luftwaffe Fighter Wing 51 Jagdgeschwader "Molders" insignia badge. Collectively the members of the JG-51 received more of the prestigious Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross than any other Jagdgeschwader. The badge shows an eagle's head and is enameled in black and light blue.

VINTAGE: Circa 1942-1943.

SIZE: Approximately 11/16" in diameter. Almost same as a Dime Size.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver-plated brass and enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin with circle saddle.

MARKINGS: N/A.
