ARTIFACT: This is a rare circa 1917-1918 Onarga Military School badge. In 1917, Onarga changed from an Illinois coeducational preparatory school to an all-male military school run by United State Army Brigadier General J.E. Bittinger. The pin shows a modified version of the Great Seal above the word ONARGA.

VINTAGE: Circa 1917-1918.

SIZE: Approximately 1" in height and 1-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with "C" catch.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VAEX09 LFJX10/10

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Badge shows light wear and a handsome tarnish; catch and pin and slightly bent but serviceable.
