ARTIFACT: This is a rare circa 1900 Confederate Veterans' hat badge. The badge shows a "CV" in a Times New Roman font at the center of a wreath of laurels. This badge, along with the other items listed for sale separately at the bottom of the page, all came to us from the same unknown Confederate veteran.

VINTAGE: Circa 1900.

SIZE: Approximately 1-5/8" in height and 2-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated and gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT: Bendable prongs.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Confederate veteran badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MAJJX13 LCGEX9/13 SCJJX3/14

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge has some light wear and some medium tarnish; one tiny spot of oxidation on reverse.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
