ARTIFACT: This is a Rare circa 1953 - 1954 United States Air Force 72nd Fighter-Bomber Squadron 21st Fighter-Bomber Group 9th Air Force Squadron Badge. Probably made in Japan During the first couple of years at the Squadron is existence, before they were sent to France as part of NATO.

VINTAGE: Circa 1953 - 1954.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated nickel with enamel and brass clutch-backs.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts with clutch-backs.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Army Air Force collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. TRVBJM TRDX23 LBGEX07/23/23

CONDITION: 8+(Excellent+ ): The badge shows excellent condition, and very light wear.
