ARTIFACT: This is a Rare Circa 1943 USAAF Waco Texas Army Flying School Fire Dept/Crash Crew Badge. Made of Wartime Shortage White Metal Circa 1943, with Silver plated Nickel Findings.

VINTAGE: Circa 1943.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wartime Shortage White Metal, with Silver plated Nickel Findings.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with tongue-type 'C' catch

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a firefighter badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJJP20 LCGEX02/17/21

CONDITION: 6+(Fine): Overall condition is good, with little wear, but the chemical makeup of the white metal did not allow the silver plating to adhere well, so it is gone from most of the badge except for findings.
