ARTIFACT: This is Rare Circa 1930 New Jersey Traffic Commission Deputy Inspector Badge by Norton, Farr and Cummings. Small, Short - Lived Motor Vehicle Related agency whose main task was to confirm statewide conformity of Local Traffic Laws.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" in height x 1-5/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass, with painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop in locking catch.

MARKINGS: "NORTON FARR & CUMMINGS TRENTON.N.J."

ITEM NOTES: This is from a New Jersey police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. PHFV21 LEGEX02/16/21

CONDITION:  8- (Very Fine - Excellent): The badge shows moderate wear, and much of a painted lettering is remain intact.
