ARTIFACT: This is a Rare circa 1900's - 1910's New Jersey Board of Commerce & Navigation Special Investigator Badge. Made by Norton, Farr, & Cummings of Trenton, New Jersey. Original Owners initials on Front at Bottom: F.C.R.

VINTAGE: Circa 1900s - 1910s.

SIZE: Approximately: 1-7/8" in height x 1-5/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt Brass with painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with "C" catch.

MARKINGS: NORTON, FARR, & CUMMINGS TRENTON, N.J.

CONDITION:

7 (Very Fine): The badge shows moderate wear, and tarnish on back. Overall, it is very fine condition as a circa 1900s.
