ARTIFACT: This is a rare and beautiful early World War II United States Army Air Forces Command Pilot wing with a wreathed star above the central shield. The wing has a lovely patina and was made by Balfour.

VINTAGE: Circa early World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 3" in width.

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: LGB (Balfour maker mark) STERLING.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an early World War II United States Army Air Forces command pilot wing collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCJJX14 LFGEX3/14 SFJJX10/14

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing has a lovely patina.
