ARTIFACT: Rare, 1930's Maine Land Stages bus driver hat badge. The badge is topped with a spread winged eagle with a bowed head and scroll in its beak. The center shows a nicely detailed, raised Seal of the State of Maine and the shield shaped badge reads: "MAINE - LAND STAGES, INC." and there is a letter "G" at the very base.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/4" in height x 1-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt Brass with Black Painted Details. Much more yellow in color than "cold" images.

ATTACHMENT: Single post with screwback and stabilizer pin

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, some of the gilding remain intact.
