ARTIFACT:
Rare 1930's Irish Army Air Corps Pilot wing. Full dress in bullion on Irish uniform green, gabardine wool. This insignia bears an "FF" at center for "Fianna F??il" (Warriors of F??l, or Warriors of Ireland) and surrounded by a wreath of green silk with bullion embellishments and beautifully embroidered gold wings.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1930's.
SIZE:
Approximately 4-3/4" in length x 1-5/8" in height.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Embroidered gabardine wool in bullion, tinsel, cotton/polyester threads, muslin backing.
ATTACHMENT:
To be sewn onto uniform.

CONDITION:
8- (Very Fine - Excellent): The wing shows minor to moderate wear, the green silk wreath shows moderate wear beneath the bullion, the tinsel and bullion show minor to moderate tarnish, overall excellent condition.
