ARTIFACT: Rare, 1930's French Naval Balloon Airship Pilot Badge in gilt and silvered brass. The private purchase badge features a pair of nicely detailed gilt brass wings inside a wreath with an anchor centered behind and topped with a rudder wheel.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's

SIZE: Approximately 2 1/8" x 1 1/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt and silvered brass

ATTACHMENT: Two loops/lugs for cotter pin (pin missing)

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): Badge shows minor to moderate wear, nearly all the gilt and silvered details remain intact.
