ARTIFACT: Rare 1920's – early 1930's United States Marine Corps Sharpshooter badge by F. H. Noble in sterling. The planchet shows a Maltese cross with a target in the center and is suspended from a bar that reads: "SHARPSHOOTER" in embossed lettering. The reverse shows the Noble maker mark, an encircled "N" with "STERLING" below.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920's – early 1930's.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" x 1-1/2".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with safety-type open catch.

MARKINGS: "STERLING" and Noble maker mark

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USMC collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX15 LHEX4/16 SHEM12/19

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The medal shows minor to moderate wear, much of the plating details remain intact, very fine condition.
