ARTIFACT: This is a rare 1918 UCV (United Confederate Veterans) 28th annual reunion badge. Formed in 1889, the UCV was the Confederate answer to the Union's Grand Army of the Republic. The group's reunion that year was held at Tulsa, Oklahoma. The badge has a great group of symbols in relief on the front: oil wells, a flag, an eagle and an Indian head.

VINTAGE: Circa 1918.

SIZE: Approximately 1-7/16" in height and 1-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Copper-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an old Confederate veteran collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. TRAJJX14 LDEJX8/14 SDEJX5/16

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge has only light wear/tarnish.
